One of the contributing factors to knee pain is being overweight or obese. Not only does excess weight create excessive strain on the muscles, tendons, and knee joints creating additional pain, it can make us think negatively about ourselves. You did not gain an excessive amount of weight in one day and without surgery, you won’t take it off in one day. Incremental, but permanent, lifestyle changes will result in loss of weight and making you feeling better about yourself and having less joint pain.
The first thing to understand is the facility will be much like what you find in a traditional doctors office – clean and professional.
