In order to fully enjoy your above ground pool several things must be taken into account. Choosing the correct pool with the right equipment is first on the list.
B. Sand Filter: Unplug the filter drain plug and leave plug off for the winter. Put drain plug with other small removed items in the pump basket. Make sure multiport valve has no water cartridge filter in it. If necessary, blow it out with your shop vac or compressor. Leave multiport valve in the “closed” or “winterize” position.
Shock pool using liquid or granular super-chlorinator. Liquid shock typically works faster, but granule shock is typically more potent. For green pools, shock pool with twice the recommended amount for the gallons in your pool. Then brush down the floor and walls. Add a quality algaecide. Systems with sand and cartridge filters should also add a clarifier to speed up collection of dead algae.
One of the key areas of care is making sure your sanitizer level is at the recommended level as outlined in your manual. It’s important to sanitize your pool, reducing the growth of algae and bacteria. Otherwise, the water can become contaminated and cause illness. For most tubs, typically chlorine or bromine are used as sanitizers. Some tubs now use ozone and ionizer sanitizers. Be sure to follow the instructions carefully and keep all sanitizers out of reach of young children.
The filter media plays a vital role in maintaining the clarity of water. Replace the filter media if it has been used for a long period. Manual cleaning should be done in the case of D.E. filters. Change the cartridges in case if it is a Filter Cartridge Suppliers. Some may use sand filter where the sand can be replaced or it may require backwashing. All filters work well. Which filter you choose depends on what how you want it to perform. Sand is a great choice if you want an indestructible filter. Cartridge is ideal for low maintenance. DE will make your water the cleanest and make it sparkle.
These days there are many different companies that are offering ways to purify your tap water. Each of these systems has some kind of maintenance cost attached to it, but it can be hard to find.
There are also water filtration systems for home use. These filter the water before it is used all over your home. This means the water in your shower and tap is already filtered. You don’t need to have a filter on every faucet and shower head, and you can be sure all your water is safe to use. Of course, you can still use other filters if you want to be extra careful. Always remember to change the water filter cartridges on a regular basis to ensure that your water is always clean and pure.
