I’ve never been one to shy away from the fact that I’m a huge geek. I love comic books. I love comic book movies. I wear comic book shirts. I love comic book cartoons. I love comic book video games. If there was comic book cereal I’d eat it. If there were comic book cars I’d drive them. I’d even eat healthy food if it came with my favorite comic book character’s face on it. So here are the top ten comic book articles I enjoyed this year.
He will again reprise the role in the upcoming movie ” Thor: The Dark World,” which is the sequel to the 2011 film “Thor.” It is due for release on November 8, 2013. He will appear as Thor yet again in the sequel to “The Avengers,” aptly titled “The Avengers 2.” The release date for this new superhero flick has not yet been made public but is rumored to be sometime in 2015.
Features this character. For my son, it was Spiderman. Thanks to friendly neighborhood spider, my son latched on to minions fairly early in his childhood.
Well a new David Cronenberg film makes me ecstatic and having Vincent Cassel, Viggo Mortensen, Michael Fassbender, and Kiera Knightly star in it is even better. Okay it is going to be around in February and is about the relationship between Sigmund Feud and Carl Jung. Their intense relationship opens up to the birth of psychoanalysis.
Find a couple of stories about people traveling around the world, such as Under the Tuscan Sun. A mini atlas can inspire some travel plans. Throw in some phrasebooks in foreign languages, or a pocket translator. Add some small peanut packets and a mini can of soda, to be enjoyed as if one is riding on an airplane.
You’ve worked on three different characters, all with green as an identifying mark (The Green Hornet, Peter Pan, The Incredible Hulk). Do you feel there’s any kind of a pattern there, or was the color scheme merely coincidental?
The best scene in this movie is the CGI- driven chase/action sequence on the elevated subway trains. It’s the movie’s most kinetic and detailed feature.
